Chapter History

The Evansville, Indiana Area Alumnae Chapter's charter was granted on December 3rd, 1957. At that time, there was no collegiate chapter in Evansville. It wasn't until 1964 Zeta Tau Alpha's 122nd link (Zeta Alpha) began at the University of Evansville as a result of the national absorption of seven Beta Sigma Omicron chapters.

Since then, the Evansville Alumnae have worked closely with the Zeta Alpha Chapter by helping during Formal Recruitment, volunteering side-by-side at Evansville's Race for the Cure, and serving as advisors to the chapter.
